This session will educate the attendees on the dangers of having unconscious bias when it comes to incident investigations. We will identify the types of bias that may have occurred in the field. Examples will be provided where a possible bias was recognized in preventing finding the true root cause of the incident. This presentation will demonstrate how experience and preconceived notions can sometimes hurt an investigation.
